Singin Rain

Singin' In The Rain, is a song featured in Stanley Kubrick's 1971 film adaptation of A Clockwork Orange and on the film's soundtrack. The version featured on the soundtrack is sung by Gene Kelly, from the film 'Singin' In The Rain', which is also the most well known cover of the song. The song was originally released in 1929 with the film The Hollywood Music Box Revue, and was written by Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown.



Use in the Film[]

The song is first sung by Alex while attack the writer and his wife before raping the latter. He then sings it again after his treatment and return to writers house while having a bath leading to the writer identifying Alex. It then plays at the beginning of the films credits.
